William S. KellerChief Executive Officer
William S. Keller joined CBB in April 2009. Prior to being appointed Chief Executive Officer and Director, Mr. Keller provided consulting services to the bank from November 2008 through March 2009. Mr. Keller served as a banking consultant from April 2008 until March 2009. He served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Diablo Valley Bank from October 2003 until its acquisition by Heritage Bank of Commerce in April 2008.
Mr. Keller previously was president and chief executive officer of Bay Bank of Commerce, a wholly owned subsidiary of Greater Bay Bancorp and senior vice president of CivicBank of Commerce. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, East Bay and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, University of Washington. He has been active in local nonprofit organizations, including acting as a board member of Oakland’s Children’s Hospital & Research Center Foundation.

Mukhtar AliPresident & Chief Credit Officer
Mukhtar Ali joined the Bank in January 2018. He has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining the Bank, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Mission National Bank, San Francisco, California from 2012 to 2017. Mr. Ali is graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, University of Washington.

Daniel A. NorthwayEVP, Chief Financial Officer
Daniel A. Northway joined the Bank in November, 2018. He has thirty-five years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining the Bank, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Scott Valley Bank, Yreka, California from 2004 until its acquisition by Mechanics Bank, Walnut Creek, California in 2018. He also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Learner Financial Corporation, the parent holding company for Scott Valley Bank, from 2011 to 2015, and was its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Northway received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Tony SachsEVP, Chief Digital Transformation Officer
Tony Sachs joined the Bank in May 2023. He is a veteran banker with over 20 years of private banking experience. Over the course of his career, he has worked for several Bay Area banks and fintech companies in a variety of roles. His experience has included systems, technology, strategy, lending, operations, product, sales, and credit. Tony believes everyone should have access to a great private banking experience. As part of Community Bank of the Bay, he will help deliver that private banking experience to our clients. Mr. Sachs received an MBA, Finance from University of San Francisco School of Management.

Kay F. AdlerSVP, Chief Operating Officer
Kay Adler joined the Bank in October, 2019. She has over 30 years’ experience in the banking industry, spending her entire career in community financial institutions. Prior to joining the Bank, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at New Resource Bank in San Francisco, California where she joined in 2011. At New Resource she gained a real appreciation for values-based banking and is passionate about making the banking system work for the good of our communities, and not the 1%. Previously, she served as SVP, Director of IT at 1st Pacific Bank in San Diego, CA. She attended UC San Diego, receiving a degree in Applied Math.

Chaula M. PandyaSVP, Chief Technology Officer
Chaula M. Pandya has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining the Bank in October 2007 she served as Vice President of Cash Management at City National Bank from 2001 to 2002. She was employed with Civic Bank of Commerce from 1993 through 2001. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking, University of Wisconsin.

Mark RoachSVP, Chief Banking Officer
Mark comes to CBB with an extensive background in Structured Commercial Real Estate Lending and Portfolio Management. With almost 30 years of banking and lending experience, he is exceptionally knowledgeable in client marketing, structuring, risk determination, and due diligence. Prior to CBB, Mark spent over seven years as a Senior Vice President Client Manager in the Commercial Real Estate Bank of Bank of America/ Merrill Lynch. He was also a Senior Vice President of Mid Peninsula Bank / Greater Bay Bank Corp which was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2002. He is adept at arranging large commercial real estate transactions up to $50 million.

Erick KostuchekSVP, Chief Customer Experience Officer
Erick Kostuchek joined the Bank in 2023, bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in a multitude of channels, including building diverse teams in competitive markets. He is a visionary executive dedicated to effective sales and service processes, strategic planning, and enhancing the customer experience. He has held positions such as Director of Retail Banking, Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking, and other senior-level positions.
